Support & FAQ

Quick answers about installation, filters, subscriptions and privacy. Still stuck? We answer every email.

How do I enable AdBlock Pro in Safari?
Install AdBlock Pro from the App Store, then open Settings → Safari → Extensions and toggle AdBlock Pro on. Return to Safari and pages will be filtered automatically. No restart needed.
Why are ads still showing after install?
First, confirm the extension is on in Safari Settings and that the tab you're testing isn't in your allowlist. Force-quit Safari and reopen. If some ads still slip through, open AdBlock Pro and make sure the latest filter lists have been downloaded — most regional ads require a regional filter to be enabled.
How do I block a specific website or element?
Open AdBlock Pro, go to Blacklist and add the domain — every page on that site will be blocked. To remove a single banner or popup, use the Visual Selector: tap the element and it will be hidden on every future visit.
How do regional filters work?
Regional filter lists target language- and country-specific ad networks. We ship curated lists for English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Dutch, Bulgarian, Greek and more. Enable the ones that match the sites you read most, and disable the rest for the tightest coverage.
Will this slow down my iPhone?
No. AdBlock Pro uses Apple's native content blocker API, which is compiled into a compact binary and applied by Safari itself. In practice pages load up to 4x faster and use ~50% less data because ads and trackers never download in the first place — which also saves battery.
How do I whitelist a website I want to support?
Open AdBlock Pro → Allowlist and add the domain. You can also pause blocking for the current site directly from Safari's share sheet — handy for one-off visits where a site requires ads to function.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, tap AdBlock Pro, then Cancel Subscription. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period and will not auto-renew afterward. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Is my browsing data collected?
No. All filter matching runs on your device through Safari's content blocker API. We never receive your browsing history, URLs, page content or search terms. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
